    The Central Georgia Women of Impact Awards & Bruncheon Ceremony is an event that acknowledge, spotlight, and honor women who have made a significant contribution and impact on the Central Georgia community through ambition, action, and attainment. The event is powered by the collaborative efforts of the Tubman Museum, Ruth Hartley Mosley Memorial Women Center, and Douglass Theatre; along with Wesleyan College, who serves as a key contributor in helping to promote  and raise the profile of the event.

    Six (6) honorees are selected, with 2 people respectively receiving an award under the following groupings:

    Harriet Tubman Acts of Courage Award

    Fannie Appling Douglass Cornerstone of Culture Award

    Ruth Hartley Mosley Pioneer of Community Advancement Award

     

    Proceeds support partner collaborative programming efforts.
