Cultural. Historical. Musical.  These words embody the Douglass Theatre’s annual Jimmy L. Mills Jr. Choral Heritage Festival,  a celebration of the work and creativity of African American composers.  The festival, named in honor of esteemed music educator and long-serving Douglass Theatre board member, features the combined voices of students from Bibb and Twiggs County High Schools -ALL DOUGLASS CHOIR, led this year by Dr. WALTER SWAN -Professor, Elizabeth City State University (ECSU).  The festival also includes performances by the individual school choirs: Central H.S. (Bibb), Northeast H.S. (Bibb), and Twiggs County H.S., with a special performance by ECSU Concert Ensemble.  6pm | $FREE Admission
