Women Hold Up Half The Sky

The piece is laced with works of notes writers like Nikki Giovanni, Gwendolyn Brooks, June Jordon, and Ntozake Shange. Women is a high energy production set with live drums, a collection of contemporary jazz, negro spirituals and contemporary soul. This production is focused on all the known and unknown women whose fire, spirit, courage, endurance and love has provided a strong foundation for us to hold up our half of the sky.
